In the match of the 14th round of the first league, the players of Slavia only drew 1:1 with Hradec Králové, and after the losses of Sparta and Plzeň, they increased their lead over the closest pursuers by only one point at the top of the table.

The Red and Whites, who remain the only undefeated team overall in the league season, lead the table by eight points ahead of the second-placed Pilsen, two more points back in third place is the defending champions Sparta.
