“Don’t attack me, Tyson!” said Paul.

Responding to the video, in an interview with two UFC fighters Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo, Tyson firmly questioned the authenticity of Paul’s training video.

“You saw the sparring session, where that guy pretended to knockout?” Tyson asked as if he was teasing Jake Paul.

Tyson even added a sarcastic comment by saying that the stocky man who was Jake Paul’s sparring opponent in the video deliberately fell or dived.

Meanwhile, KSI, a fellow YouTuber who is also involved in the world of boxing, also commented on Paul’s training footage. He assessed that Paul’s technique looked very bad and slow in the training session.

Despite criticizing Jake Paul’s performance, KSI actually predicted that Paul would ‘destroy’ Tyson in the fight, citing the significant age difference between the two boxers.

Boxing fans on social media also criticized Paul’s training video. Some of them highlighted his opponent not making any head movements at all, even though that is one of Tyson’s best skills.

Responding to the controversy, Tyson has shared a training video showing him knocking out a sparring partner with a left hook, as if to give Paul a warning ahead of their fight.

The fight between Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul is scheduled to take place on November 15 2024 at the AT&T Arena, Arlington, Texas, and will be broadcast live via the Netflix streaming platform.
