Madrid –
Bad start AC Milan not the main concern Real Madrid. Carlo Ancelotti believes Milan simply hasn’t fulfilled its enormous potential.
Real Madrid will host AC Milan at Santiago Bernabeu, Wednesday (6/11/2024) early morning WIB, on Matchday 4 Liga Champions. Even though they were thwarted by Lille, Los Blancos on paper will still be the favorites in this match.
Apart from a narrow 0-1 defeat at Lille headquarters, Madrid won 3-1 over Stuttgart and 5-2 against Borussia Dortmund. Both were picked at the Bernabeu, which will provide a massive mental boost against Milan.

Meanwhile, Milan has so far been overwhelmed in the Champions League. They lost to top opponents, 1-3 to Liverpool and 0-1 to Bayer Leverkusen respectively.
Milan broke off that bad start with a 3-1 win over Club Brugge, who were not as strong on a level as the first two opponents. These results make the Rossoneri, owners of seven Champions League titles, fall in 25th position out of 36 teams.
Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti sees that Milan is currently still looking for their best form with Paulo Fonseca. Fonseca only arrived last summer as a replacement for Stefano Pioli.
“This is a special match because of my past with Milan. Milan didn’t start well, but they are always dangerous because they have good quality in the attack line,” said Ancelotti, who was equally successful as a player and coach at Milan.
“They have great potential, maybe it hasn’t been fulfilled yet. But we have to be ready for a tough match,” he added.
