Anita conveyed this at the DPR RI Commission X Working Meeting with the Minister of Youth and Sports and PSSI at the Parliament Complex on Monday (4/11/2024).
What was discussed at the meeting was the consideration of granting Indonesian citizenship status to three players of descent, namely Kevin Diks, Estella Loupatty and Noa Leatomu.
During the meeting, Anita asked the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo, to empower domestic athletes rather than naturalize athletes from abroad.
Initially he supported the government’s decision to bring Indonesia’s good name to the world stage through sports. One way is to naturalize athletes.
