NBA, the program for week 3 (4-10 November)

Let’s discover the most important matches of the third NBA week 2024/25, also highlighting the Italian dates and times of these matches. It will be possible to enjoy the entire National Basketball Association on “Nba League Pass” or it will be possible to follow various challenges also on Sky Sport NBA.

Week 3

The first match of the third week of the NBA (from 4 to 10 November) will see the highly successful Cleveland Cavs (7 wins in as many games) and the hitherto noble, fallen Milwaukee (1-5 record in the first six), with the match taking place on Tuesday 5 November at 1am (Italian time) at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland.

Also on Tuesday night there will be another 14 matches scheduledessentially with all 30 franchises on the field: among these, the match between Orlando Magic and Oklahoma City Thunder at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City (3.15 am), the one between Indiana Pacers and Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center in Dallas should be highlighted (3.45 hours) and the one between the 76ers and the Suns at the Footprint Center in Phoenix (4.15 hours). The Lakers and Celtics will play in Detroit (1.30 am) and Atlanta (1.45 am) respectively, while the Knicks will play in Houston (2.45 am), for a night that promises to be absolutely fiery.

After a one day break, Thursday 7 November we return to the parquet and the challenge between the Golden State Warriors, authors of an excellent start to the season, and the reigning champions Boston Celtics immediately catches the eye (1.30 am), in the remake of the 2022 Finals – Steph Curry’s condition must also be evaluated. Also on Thursday, at 2.00 am the Spurs and Rockets will face each other in the Texan derby at the Toyota Center in Houston, while the Lakers will fly to Memphis. Also worth keeping an eye on are the games between the Bulls and Mavericks (2.30am at the American Airlines Center), between the Thunder and Nuggets (3.00am at the Ball Arena) and between the Heat and Suns (3.00am at the Footprint Center).

On Friday 8 November, of the three games on the calendar, we highlight the match between Anthony Edwards’ Timberwolves and Lonzo Ball’s Bullspremiering in Chicago (2 p.m.), while on Saturday 9th 13 matches will be played. Among these, the Bucks will visit the Knicks at Madison Square Garden in New York (1.30 am), the 76ers will play at the Crypto Arena in Los Angeles against the Lakers (4.00 pm) and the Clippers will try to violate the parquet in Sacramento (hours 4.00). Also on Saturday, at 11pm on Sky Sports NBA, the Jazz will face the Spurs in San Antonio, while Sunday, again on Sky Sport NBA at 9.30 pm, match between Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks at the Fiserv Forumwithout forgetting the match between the Knicks and Pacers at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis (11pm), the latter live on NBA League Pass.

Finally, on the night between Sunday and Monday, the spotlight will be on the Timberwolves, who will host the Heat (1.00 am), on the Thunder, who will play at home against the Warriors (1.00 am), and on the Nuggets, who will play at the Ball Arena against the Doncic’s Mavs.

As usual, let’s also take a look at the challenges that await the only Italian present in the NBA so far for the 2024/25 season. In this regard, interviewed by Corriere the Abruzzo winger declared: “Being the only Italian in the NBA is a great responsibility, even if I’m a bit sorry, I wish there were more. It makes me proud to know that in Italy there are many people who wake up at night and look at what I did, how my matches went.” The Pistons started the year with a negative record of 2 wins and 5 losseswith Fontecchio slowly regaining shape and confidence on the parquet – his best performance in Boston, author of 11 points in 18 minutes.

Detroit will open its week 3 by hosting the Lakers at Little Caesars Arenamatch scheduled for Tuesday at 1.30 am, then moving to Charlotte on Thursday (1.00 am), before returning to Detroit on Saturday (1.00 am), with the Pistons facing the Atlanta Hawks. To close the week, another home match, this time against the Houston Rockets, on Sunday 10 November at 9.00 pm, a decidedly more humane time even on this side of the ocean.
