Who says football is only a home ground for young people? In Xia County, there is a group of middle-aged and elderly football uncles from all over the country. They say that “it is not more fun than winning or losing”, but when they actually play football, they compete against each other. Each one is more interesting than the other, let’s watch them together.
“Kick fast, pass the ball…”, shouts came from time to time on the field. The big guys fought fiercely, ran actively, kicked decisively, intercepted the ball, turned around, and shot. In this competition, there are 14 teams from various provinces and cities across the country with more than 300 players, and 8 football teams from all over the province with more than 100 players. The oldest is 82 years old and the youngest is 45 years old. Everyone uses the ball to make friends and compete on the same stage, interpreting the spirit of sports competition and showing the healthy and progressive spirit of middle-aged and elderly people.
The competition starts on October 31st and ends on November 5th. It aims to enrich the cultural and sports life of middle-aged and elderly people in various provinces and cities across the country, further enhance the friendship of middle-aged and elderly football fans in various provinces, and promote the development of middle-aged and elderly football sports.
