The Plateau Tennis Club launched the season with its internal tournament in Saint-Mexant, in which twelve players participated.
A new season is starting for the Plateau Tennis Club with the internal tournament which took place on Sunday at the Saint-Germain-les-Vergnes gymnasium.
This competition took place in a superb atmosphere, with the players happy to be back on the pitch.
38 matches on five-point tie-breaks
Lise Rathonie explained the rules of the game which included 38 matches played in five-point tie-breaks. This new edition gave rise to some great confrontations.
The twelve players faced each other with intense and hard-fought matches. In the adult table, Johan Boudrie won all of these matches, he is therefore the big winner, followed by José Perez (2 e ) and Julien Soquet (3 e ).
The final of the presidents saw the victory of Julien Soquet against Lise Rathonie. That of the veterans was won by José Perez against Guy Bouvier. And that of generations was won by Marek Trépardoux against Guy Bouvier.
Concerning the young people, a good final pitted Clément Hennion against Nathan Hennion and saw Clément’s victory.
The club’s desire is to share a quality season with passion for tennis.
