Of the four major sports in the United States, the transfer deadline for the NFL It tends to be one of the slowest. It’s rare for big-name players to change teams mid-season, but that doesn’t stop analysts from trying to generate expectations about possible moves.

Dallas Cowboys suma a Jonathan Mingo
Nov. 5 – When everyone expected the Dallas Cowboys to make a big move to add a running back, their first step was for a receiver: they reached an agreement with the Carolina Panthers for Jonathan Mingo. Browning, who began his career as a linebacker, had 4.5 sacks in 10 games last season, but has yet to record any this year in a reduced role. The Cardinals lead the NFC West after nine weeks and hope Browning can at least be a rotational pass rusher for the rest of the season.
Saints fire Dennis Allen, but a complete sale of the team is not expected
Nov. 4 – The New Orleans Saints started the season 2-0 with a high-level offense. Less than two months later, they have lost seven games in a row and now have a 2-7 record. The last loss against the Carolina Panthers was the last straw, and New Orleans decided to let go of its head coach. Despite the firing of Dennis Allen, initial reports indicate that a massive player sale is not expected before the trade deadline.

Nov. 3 – With a 6-2 record in their bye week, the Pittsburgh Steelers lead the AFC North. The Detroit Lions, looking for help rushing the quarterback after Aidan Hutchinson’s injury, have made inquiries about Smith, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Jets receive calls about WR Mike Williams
Nov. 3 – The situation has already been seen coming since Week 6, but Mike Williams is “generating interest” before the trade deadline, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The Jets’ receiver room has filled up quickly and Williams could be the one left out.
Chiefs interested in acquiring CB Marshon Lattimore
Nov. 2 – The Chiefs are looking to strengthen their defense. Recently, they have shown interest in Saints CB Marshon Lattimore, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Although everything will largely depend on the health of the four-time Pro Bowl selection, who will not play vs. Carolina Panthers.
