As investigations are still ongoing, there is a possibility that more suspicious bets will be detected by the authorities, with the total values increasing significantly.
The case report also shows that three betting houses noticed unusual movements in bets involving a yellow card for Bruno Henrique, and one of them even started to prevent further bets of this kind.
At the moment when the bets were made, the odd for the player to receive a warning was 3,10 – that is, for every R$1 invested, the payment was R$3.10.
In addition to Bruno Henrique, several gamblers and the attacker’s family members are also being investigated.

In an official note (read full below), Gaeco (Special Action Group to Combat Organized Crime) and the Federal Police reported that they launched an operation this Tuesday (5) to investigate cards taken by the athlete in a match against the Santosfor Brasileirão 2023, on November 1st of last year (See the shots in the video above).
In total, more than 50 federal police officers and six prosecutors from Gaeco-DF carried out 12 search and seizure warrants, issued by the Federal District Court, in the cities of Rio de Janeiro (including CT Ninho do Urubu, in Flamengo), Belo Horizonte, Vespasiano, Lagoa Santa and Ribeirão das Neves.

In a statement (read full below), Flamengo said that it “was made aware of the case” and stated that it “will give full support to the athlete Bruno Henrique”, who “enjoys our trust and, like any person, enjoys the presumption of innocence”.
The red-black club also pointed out that “an investigation in the sporting field” carried out by the STJD (Superior Court of Sports Justice) on the subject “was archived” and highlighted that the number 27 continues to train normally with the team. The investigated move took place 50 minutes into the 2nd half of the Flamengo’s 2-1 defeat to Santosat Mané Garrincha, in Brasília.
The analysis is based on the infractions of the attacker, who received a yellow card after committing a foul in Soteldofrom Peixe, and then complained loudly to the referee Rafael Rodrigo Kleinbeing sent off the field – in the summary, the judge stated that Bruno Henrique said the following sentence: “You’re a s***”.

The targets of the operation are players and bettors.
This is, in theory, a crime against the uncertainty of the sporting result, which is the conduct typified in the General Sports Law, with a penalty of two to six years in prison.
The operation has the support of Gaeco from the Public Ministry of Rio de Janeiro and Gaeco from the Public Ministry of Minas Gerais.
