WIEN, AUSTRIA) At the 19th Youngsan Cup Korean Association of Europe Tennis Tournament, the team of Go Hwa-gyun and Yoon Geon-woo took the top spot in the men’s group A and received a trophy and generous prizes. Second place went to the team of Park Jin-man and Park Jin-ho.
In the women’s division, the team of Kang In-kyung and Ahn In-sook took first place, and the team of Kim Han-ja and Lee Ga-young took second place.
In addition, the men’s group B included 1st place Baek Ju-hwang and Lee Ho-seung, and 2nd place Seo Hyeong-min and Choi Jae-seok.
This tournament, co-hosted by the European Korean-American Tennis Association (Chairman Kim Jong-min) and the Austrian Korean-American Tennis Association (Chairman Gwang-ho Kim) at LTM Tennisplatz in Vienna, Austria, on November 1, 2024, includes England, France, Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, About 70 tennis enthusiasts from 7 countries, including Algeria, participated and competed fiercely.
Chairman Kim Jong-min explained that in the match held from 10 o’clock on this day, only the doubles match was played to promote friendship, harmony, and cooperation among the participants, and the individual match and men’s and women’s doubles were omitted due to time constraints.
At the awards ceremony held at 3 p.m., Youngsan Group Chairman Park Jong-beom personally attended and presented awards to the winners.
In addition, Kim Young-ki, president of the Korean Federation of Europe, and Nam Jeong-ja, advisor to the Korean Federation of Europe, also attended and encouraged the players.
At the end of the award ceremony, the participants supported the hosting of the Youngsan Cup Tennis Tournament in both material and spiritual ways as they have been for the past 19 years, and despite his busy schedule, including the 28th World Korean Business Convention and the conclusion of the Korea Product Expo held until the day before, Chairman Park Jong-beom personally presented the event. He expressed his gratitude for attending the awards ceremony and presented a thoughtful gift to Chairman Park.
Chairman Park’s eldest son, Park Geon-young, CEO of Youngsan Austria, received a lot of applause when he announced, “Next year will be the 20th competition, so we will prepare a suitable competition.”
