Giannis leaving the Bucks? His most likely destination revealed!

Milwaukee is doing very badly at the start of the season with extremely disappointing results. Giannis Antetokounmpo had also suggested that this could well jeopardize his future in Wisconsin… The bookmakers therefore immediately set about determining the Greek superstar’s next base.

If we had to name a team as the biggest disappointment at the start of the 2024/25 season, do not choose the Bucks would be very complicated. Doc Rivers’ players are today dead last in the Eastern Conference with a record of one victory for six defeats, they who have not won since their first match of the year… and who have therefore once again lost last night, against the Cavs (116-114).

Clearly, it is the crisis in Wisconsin when the franchise had already caused controversy last season by firing Adrian Griffin to replace him with Rivers along the way. Since his induction, the former champion NBA displays a negative balance sheet… Suffice to say that it is difficult to see the Daims fighting for the title at the moment. However, many people think that this would lead to the implosion of the roster.

In the first place, Giannis Antetokounmpo had not hidden recently that he was not sure he would still be a Milwaukee player in the event of another failure. Titled in 2021 with his long-time team, the Greek could well pack his bags during the coming summer. But where could he put them next? The bookmakers have looked into the subject and some favorites stand out from the crowd, including a franchise in particular in the East:

The Heat and the Clippers, main contenders for Giannis?

Without much surprise, it is Miami which seems to have the advantage in this matter. Pat Riley has never been afraid to bring in stars even if it means opening the wallet wide and on paper, a duo formed by Giannis and Bam Adebayo in the racket would indeed be terrifying. It remains to be seen what the Floridians would be willing to give in exchange, because Milwaukee will under no circumstances sell off its best all-time player.

As for other contenders, the Nets and Rockets would therefore also be credible solutions. But according to an anonymous executive interviewed by insider Adam Zagoria, another team could well join the discussion for the Greek Freak:

The only places I see him going is Miami or the Clippers.

The Bucks’ season is already turning into a fiasco and this could well seal Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future there. No one knows if the former MVP will actually pack his bags during the summer, but one thing is certain: the competition will snatch him up.
