Diane’minton kept badminton fans in suspense last weekend. This annual tournament organized by the Abbc (Anet Bû Badminton Club) is very well attended each edition.
“This new edition brought together 234 players over the two days from 54 different clubs in the region, Normandy and Île-de-France,” explains Marc Schmit, president of the club.
He underlines: “This represents major logistics carried out by our volunteers whose investment is immense”.
The Abbc is a very dynamic club. “This season, we have 163 memberships, including around forty for the badminton school alone,” explains the president. “The coming months will be busy since, from Saturday November 16, we are organizing, in Anet, with the departmental committee a mini-badminton table.”
Everyone has their place
At the end of December, an advanced training course will be offered to young people. “We will host two courses in Anet and Bû offered and organized by the leisure center.” The Abbc is open to everyone, young people, seniors, competitions or leisure. “Everyone can find their place there to have fun.”
