At the time of the check, the man first showed a certain nervousness and then tried in every way to escape the police’s investigations, trying to prevent access to the house from which an unmistakable smell of marijuana was coming. His attitude strengthened the suspicions of the officers who carried out a thorough search of the apartment, uncovering more than 700 grams of narcotic substances, including hashish and marijuana, as well as a precision scale and various drug packaging materials.
Furthermore, cash worth just over 400 euros was found, believed to be the proceeds of the illicit activity. But what caught the attention of the police was the presence of four cell phones used, presumably, to maintain direct contact with potential customers. One of the phones was found unlocked, with the chat of a well-known messaging application open, with several channels dedicated to drug dealing and various videos depicting substances.
When asked by the officers, the 31-year-old was unable to indicate which mobile phone he owned and then admitted, with considerable agitation, that he dedicated himself to drug dealing, using the numerous messaging channels.
The man was arrested by the police and, following the immediate trial, he was subjected to precautionary custody in prison.
