In January 2025, the Krefeld Police Sports Club is offering a new judo course for children.
Judo in Krefeld promotes more than just fitness
Krefeld – Not just the physical one Fitness benefits from Judobut also important social skills such as personal development, Social behavior and fairness are specifically promoted through this sport. Interested children from the age of seven can do so from the 9th. January the chance to join a new beginner group. You have the opportunity to take part in training free of charge for four weeks and get a taste of the sport without obligation. A subsequent one registration for these Age group is only then back in January possible in 2026.
Training times and location
The judo center Krefeldlocated at Gladbacher Straße 601 (on the site of the former TEW fighting track, opposite the steelworks), is the training location for the new group on Thursdays between 5 and 6:30 p.m. Another offer is available for the youngest children between four and six years of age. As part of this group, which trains on Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., the children experience Judo in a playful way. There is one all year round for the little ones Registration possible.
