Irfan Pathan’s career

Irfan had once been India’s strike bowler. He has expertise in swing bowling. In his early days, he troubled many legendary batsmen with his swing. He is also the first bowler for India to take a hat-trick in Tests. Irfan made his debut for India in 2003. His first match was a Test match against Australia in Adelaide. He made his ODI debut in 2004 against Australia in Melbourne. Irfan made his T20 debut in 2006 against South Africa in Johannesburg. He played his last international match in October 2012 in T20 against South Africa. Irfan has not only been India’s strike bowler but has also opened for Team India.

Irfan has played 29 Tests, 120 ODIs and 24 T20 matches for India. He has 100 wickets in Test, 173 wickets in ODI and 28 wickets in T20. Apart from this, he has also shown great talent with the bat.
