Seven teams of this cricket league played with tennis balls are ready to spread their shine. The special thing about this league is that many legendary cricketers from India and around the world will be seen in the role of mentors. These include World Cup winning players like Suresh Raina, Brett Lee and Irfan Pathan. They will form the team for the Star League and select players for the trials. Irfan Pathan’s career
Irfan had once been India’s strike bowler. He has expertise in swing bowling. In his early days, he troubled many legendary batsmen with his swing. He is also the first bowler for India to take a hat-trick in Tests. Irfan made his debut for India in 2003. His first match was a Test match against Australia in Adelaide. He made his ODI debut in 2004 against Australia in Melbourne. Irfan made his T20 debut in 2006 against South Africa in Johannesburg. He played his last international match in October 2012 in T20 against South Africa. Irfan has not only been India’s strike bowler but has also opened for Team India.
Irfan has played 29 Tests, 120 ODIs and 24 T20 matches for India. He has 100 wickets in Test, 173 wickets in ODI and 28 wickets in T20. Apart from this, he has also shown great talent with the bat. He has 1105 runs in Tests at an average of 31.57, 1544 runs in ODIs at an average of 23.39 and 172 runs in T20s at a strike rate of 119.44. His best score has been 102 runs in Test, 83 runs in ODI and 33 not out in T20. Irfan has scored one century and six half-centuries in Tests and five half-centuries in ODIs. Irfan’s best bowling is seven wickets for 59 runs in Test, five wickets for 27 runs in ODI and three wickets for 16 runs in T20. Irfan was a part of the Indian team that won the 2007 T20 World Cup. He was also the player of the match in the final against Pakistan.

Players who perform better in the trials will be selected for the auction.
