Venados will seek to equalize the series this Wednesday against Cañeros

Venados was the first to turn on the scoreboard, when in the same first inning they scored the one of the pool, after Fabricio Macías opened the actions with a double and minutes later, he came home with a single by Ramiro Peña.

For his part, Javier Solano kept Cañeros at zero, but in the fourth, the visitor was able to break that dominance to the point of turning the score around. Yasmani Tomás led off the inning with a single and one out later, Justin Dean doubled to leave runners in scoring position.

It seemed that Solano would get out of trouble when he hung the second out, but Alejandro Urías sent them to the pentagon with a single. On the play, Urías anchored at second base and from there he managed to ring when Brayan Mendoza hit an RBI hit for a base.

In the fifth, the greens scored twice with a single by Kyle Martin. Marco Jaime’s double in the eighth put the score at 6-1, which prevailed until the end of the match.

Nick Struck (1-0) won, while the setback went to Javier Solano (1-3)

For this Wednesday, Juan José Pacho’s team will send Nolan Kingham (1-2) to try to tie the series, while Cañeros will have Ronald Bolaños (0-2) as their starter, in a match scheduled to start at 7 p.m. :00 hours.
