Robberies and terror run rampant on the train. The culprits were caught, 2 are minors

The Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Section of Seregno placed handcuffs on the two minors, respectively resident in Cesate, in the province of Milan and in Mozzate, in the province of Como, for the crime of robbery committed against an 18 year old, on board a a train along the Como-Monza route. A third peer of the same age, resident in Longone al Segrino, also in the province of Como, was reported in the operation. The events occurred in the late afternoon of November 1st: the military was activated following a request for help from a passenger who was traveling on board the train coming from Camnago and arriving at Seveso station. The men of the force reconstructed that the young man had been approached by three unknown boys. One of these had stolen the baseball hat he was wearing and, given the victim’s reaction, had threatened her by showing a large knife that he hid under his jacket. At that point the attackers got out of the convoy and fled. The victim, supported by the friends with whom he was travelling, followed them, managing to point them out to the police who had arrived on site in the meantime.

The robbers were all identified and accompanied to the Seregno Company Headquarters, while the knife was recovered and seized. On the basis of the information collected and in relation to the responsibilities ascertained, two of the three were declared under arrest, while the third was reported at large. The arrested were taken to the Beccaria First Reception Center in Milan. The other day, the Carabinieri of the Varedo station also reported a 22-year-old resident in Milan to be released for the crime of aggravated robbery committed on board a train. The military intervened around 12pm at the Bovisio Masciago railway station, where they collected the victim’s report.

And they reconstructed that on board the train coming from Milan Affori and heading to Camnago-Lentate, the 22-year-old had approached a young passenger and, threatening him with scissors, had a small sum of money handed over to him and then ran away, getting off at the Varedo stop. The police concentrated their searches near a disused industrial area in the municipality of Varedo and here, thanks to the description provided by the victim, they tracked down and identified the robber, who was subsequently reported. The stolen property was recovered and returned to the victim.
