Hesse’s judoka shined at the Adler Cup in Frankfurt and impressively demonstrated their skills. From October 25th to 27th, 2024, numerous Hessian athletes competed at the international judo event, which has long since established itself as one of the most important platforms for young sports in Germany.
In a strong field of participants that attracted talent from all over the world, the Hessian judoka fought for medals in the U13 to U21 age groups and showed thrilling fights and outstanding techniques. The local fighters took the opportunity to demonstrate their talent and discipline in a top-class competition in front of their home crowd – and were rewarded with excellent placings.

“The strong performances of our young judoka are a credit to hard work and good preparation. In addition to the commitment of our athletes, this is also a success of the trainers, who contributed to the success with a lot of dedication and targeted coaching,” summed up the youth management of the Hessian Judo Association. “They supported the judoka every step of the way and were an important part of this success.”
