Initiated by Mickaël Denizot, the new teacher of the judo section of the ASF omnisports, a course brought together nearly thirty young judokas licensed in the three clubs of Cercy-la-Tour, Decize and Fourchambault.
A very nice initiative welcomed by Johanna Mir, the president of the section. “This is the first interclub camp of the year, the very first in a long time. We must see in this alliance a beautiful formula capable of creating cohesion, both between the Fourchambaultais themselves and with their little comrades from the invited clubs. »
“A good opportunity to create cohesion”
She also underlined “the support of all members of the section for this type of training. And that of the municipality which agrees to grant us additional slots to occupy the dojo.”
Also present on the scene, Jean-Claude Bonnot, president of Omnisports, judged that “it is a day which fits into the dynamics of this section. At the start of a season led by a team united around the president. With “the extra” brought by Mickaël Denizot, the teacher totally involved in the life of the club.”
A teacher who, throughout the day, managed the different categories present. From pre-chicks (5 years old) to cadets, including chicks, benjamins and minis. Fighters, some already seasoned, cadets weighing more than 70 kg, or minors less than 63 kg, to name just a few, rubbed shoulders with kids who, with stars in their eyes, were already imagining what they would be capable of to do within a few years.
Next meeting in February, in Decize
In addition, explains the teacher, “allowing each child to confront judokas other than those in their own club is always very enriching. As Johanna (Mir) mentioned, training over a much longer duration of a day, compared to usual training, is also a good opportunity to create cohesion.” It was also an opportunity to spend a very pleasant day, which ended with a snack offered by the section.
An appointment has already been made for next February. This time, Decize will host this course.
