For the first time, the Goodyear “Blimp” is intended to “cause fascination” at NFL games in Germany

The “blimp” usually attracts everyone’s attention at NFL games in the USA. Next Sunday, Goodyear’s brand icon will be seen for the first time at a game in the US professional football league on German soil, when the New York Giants compete against the Carolina Panthers in Munich’s Allianz Arena. Around 70,000 fans are expected at the NFL’s overseas appearance, “and those who can tear their eyes away from the exciting game will discover the Goodyear airship above the stadium,” according to a statement. The US “Blimp” fleet includes three identical, semi-rigid airships built by the German manufacturer Zeppelin. Since 2020, a fourth Goodyear airship stationed in Germany has been “causing fascination”.
