In this long weekend that is looming, the ruffles will be flying at the Halle des Quatre Chênes since theAmiens UC Badminton organizes a senior tournament and a youth tournament. Nearly 400 players will follow one another.
Saturday November 9 and Sunday November 10, Amiens UC Badminton will hold its “Duo Mixto” tournament. A national men’s, women’s and mixed doubles tournament who this year will bring together more than 280 participants. A record participation for the Amiens club which had just over 250 participations in the 2023 edition.
For the occasion, 15 tableaux will be played over the weekend. These are more than 50 clubs who will be represented, with players mainly from Hauts-de-France, Île-de-France, the Champagne region and Normandy. Among those involved, we will find nearly 70 Amiens, which should give the locals a good chance of success. For the more detailed program, the men’s and women’s doubles will be held on Saturday from approximately 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., before giving way on Sunday to the mixed doubles from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
When there is no more, there is still more!
At the end of these two days of competition, the Samarian club sets the table again since Monday, November 11he will welcome more than 100 young people for his national tournament of Young Gargoyles. A competition which is making its comeback after several years of absence, and which will extend from categories chicks to juniors in singles and doubles. For the occasion, nearly 30 clubs in Hauts-de-France, Île-de-France and Normandy make the trip. Here too, there is a good participation from Amiens since we will find around thirty young Autistic people committed.
