Association Presidential Conference: The city would like to thank the representatives of the Weinfeld associations for their voluntary commitment.
On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the city invited all Weinfeld clubs to the annual club executive conference. City councilor Valentin Hasler thanks those present for their commitment and congratulates the Swiss champions in speed badminton.
The focus of this year’s club executive conference was the commitment of the Weinfeld clubs. Valentin Hasler thanked the around 50 club representatives present for their long-standing commitment to their club. “Through your voluntary work you keep entire clubs alive. Clubs that contribute to a diverse cultural, sporting and social offering in Weinfelden. On behalf of the city of Weinfelden, I would like to thank you very much!” Long-time club officials were personally thanked and their successors were introduced.
The city council also congratulated the new Swiss champions in Swiss Speed Badminton. Zrinka Wirth took the title in the women’s singles, Severin Wirth in the men’s singles. And together they are now also Swiss doubles champions.
After the conference, the club representatives were able to exchange ideas and maintain contacts over a convivial aperitif.
