SQUIRRELS-DRAGONFLIES: Beautiful Saturday afternoon for our boys and girls born in 2016-17 who played many games in an internal 3vs3 tournament while waiting for the category mini-basketball championship which we will face with our usual spirit of fun and giving way everyone to play.
ACADEMY ITALY: On Monday Alassio was the scene of two training sessions conducted by the head of the Italian youth national team Giovanni Lucchesi who, together with a legend of Italian basketball, Roberto Brunamonti, first guided the teams born in 2012-13 and then the teams born in 2010-11 of Western Liguria.
The event is connected to the training held on Sunday by the Ligurian selection in the new Palasport in Genoa in which Lara participated and, this Ligurian week of the Azzurri leaders, will culminate on Thursday with the match of the Women’s National Team against the Czech Republic, effectively inaugurating the new facility Genoese.
“We are happy that Alassio was chosen as the venue for these two training sessions, we are proud that the two coaches who supported Lucchesi are our Technical Manager Laura and Giulia and very happy that many of our basketball players were present at the event. Women’s basketball must be looked after and the presence of several coaches from Western Liguria at the two training sessions in Alassio demonstrates a renewed interest in the sector”.
