In a fiery atmosphere at the adidas arena, our Paris Basketball players snatched a 4th victory in a row in the EuroLeague against Partizan Belgrade (74-71).
Paris power 4! Facing the club from the Serbian capital, the Parisians won in the final moments to the delight of the Parisian supporters. A new very high level performance from our players.
At the start of the match where the Parisians immediately found alternation, Collin Malcolm led the entire group from the capital. Kevarrius Hayes is already fighting for the rebound and the Partizan players are struggling to find address. The locals already take the lead after 10 minutes (21-16). Before the break, it was the turn of Mikael Jantunen and Yakuba Ouattara to find success from afar. Meanwhile, Nadir Hifi is heating up to allow us to stay in the lead (37-35).
Returning from the locker room, Tiago Splitter’s players quickly put down the opposing fouls while continuing to have success from afar. The intensity goes up a notch, and at the buzzer, the Yak brings the adidas arena to its feet with a big three-point shot which allows us to come back level (56-57).
In money time, Nadir took matters into his own hands by scoring an and-one in front of the Parisian kop. Mikael continues his work on both sides of the field and intercepts a throw-in in the final moments to put us back in the lead. After a huge defense and a big rebound, the Finn will fold the match on the throwing line to give us a fourth victory in a row in the Euroleague (74-71).
