The Fano Judo Academy once again rose to the top step, in Spello in the Umbria Cup, capable of achieving an encore after the triumph in February. The company of the president and teacher Umberto Battista prevailed over a dozen teams from central Italy, showing up for the event with four athletes from the Boys and eighteen Boys age groups. The Fano medal list speaks of a total of 16 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze, distributed as follows: gold Gloria Castronovo, Matias De Pierro, Nicola Ordonselli, Giacomo Argenio, Emanuel Erbi, Gisel Ferri, Leonardo Gravina, Giulia Marcantognini, Nicholas Molo, Matteo Niro, Dino Rossini, Angelo Santarsieri, Tommaso Sinapi, Nicola Ugolini, Lorenzo Zeppi and Vittoria De Paola, silver Nicolò Spinaci, Luca Argenio, Michele Berardi and Nico Bracalenti and bronze Daniel Spizzico and Davide Ambrosini. Accompanying them, in addition to the aforementioned Battista, were also the other instructor Enrico Ridolfi and the technical collaborator Luca Tazzari. However, a shoulder injury unfortunately prevented the new regional champion and black belt Nicoletta Russo from competing in the A2 Italian Cup in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Ud), for which she had brilliantly qualified. The Fano Judo Academy will be in Riccione on Saturday and Sunday at the Cseno national championship with all categories and 38 representatives. Info. www.accademiajudofano.it
