The Utah Jazz also entered the encounter with six defeats in seven games and are now the only team in the league with seven defeats.

The Minnesota Timberwolves managed the turnaround against the Chicago Bulls with a 45:24 in the final quarter and won on the road 135:119. In the third game of the day, the San Antonio Spurs celebrated a 118:105 home win over the Portland Trail Blazers.
