The great world tennis in Turin, Nitto ATP Finals until November 17

Turin is preparing to become the capital of great world tennis with the Nitto ATP Finals from November 10 to 17, 2024.

The tournament takes place every year and brings together eight best players on the men’s tennis circuitwhere performances at Grand Slams, ATP Masters 1000 tournaments and other top competitions count.

The international event will take place at the Inalpi Arenathe largest indoor sports hall in Italy.

What is the Nitto ATP Tennis Finals in Turin?

What are the Nitto ATP Finals? The name dates back to 2017 with a sponsorship deal with Nitto Denko Corporationa Japanese giant in the industrial materials sector.

The draw for the singles and doubles draws took place on November 7. The tournament takes place in the form of a round robinwith each participant playing three matches which determine group ranking and qualification for the semi-finals.

The champion who wins the title without losing a single match earns 1,500 points. All singles matches are played best of three sets, with tie-breaks in all games, including the final.

All doubles matches are played in the best of three sets, with a 40-all tie-break and a tie-break in the third set.

World number 1, the Italian Jannik Sinnerwill participate in the tournament for the third time after losing the final against Novak Djolovichaving withdrawn due to injury. The Spanish Carlos Alcarazwinner of Wimbledon and Roland Garros, seeded number 3, and seeded number 2, the German Alexander Zverevdouble winner of the tournament, will be present.

Will participate Taylor Fritz (USA), Alex De Minaur (Out of), Casper Ruud (Nor), Daniil Medvedev (Russia), Andrey Rublev (Russia). Italy will also be represented by Simone Bolelli et Andrea Vavassori in the double.

The city of Turin is preparing to welcome the public and tourists with the Fan Village located near the Inalpi Arena, through thematic exhibitions and numerous discussion activities, events, tastings, special places and initiatives to immerse yourself at 360 degrees in tennis and sport and numerous events spread over the entire territory.

During the tournament, some of the city’s most iconic landmarks – like the Mole Antonelliana, then the Civic Palace, the Palace of the Region, the bridges sur le Pôwill light up in the colors of the Nitto ATP Finals to accompany the great show offered by the tennis champions at the Inalpi Arena.

Activities in the city

The Home Tennis (house of tennis), geodesic dome transparent located in the center of the Castle Squarewill be one of the highlights of the city festival and the beating heart of numerous free meetings with distinguished guests. 150 places are available and reservation is required.

The State Archivesa stone’s throw from Piazza Castello, will host Gusto Housethe space dedicated to guided tastings of the gastronomic and wine excellence of the territory. An exhibition not to be missed for all tennis lovers will also be organized, with a rich selection of souvenirs and snowshoes from the museum of the MOR racquet of Baldissero d’Alba.

As explained by event programnumerous guided tours will be organized every day to discover the thousand faces of Turin, from historic cafes to royal palaces, including the Luci d’Artista which color the sky from the city to its province thanks to bus tours.

On the eve of the Nitto ATP Finals, Saturday November 16, Turin will ignite with energy and creativity, with engaging activities that focus on spectacular Tennis nightwith many events and surprises.

On Sunday, November 17, the OGR Turin (Officine Grandi Riparazioni, the old train maintenance buildings) will host The Final set ATP Partythe final party of the Nitto ATP Finals with the projection of the final on giant screens and, at the end, two DJ sets exclusives produced by “Movement”.

The Nitto ATP Finals champions will also be the absolute stars of the three photo exhibitions outdoors organized under the arcades of the Piazza Palazzo di Città, the Piazza San Carlo and the Via Po.
