Their last clash, at the 2023 World Cup, ended in a victory for South Africa against Scotland (18-3) in the group stage. A few weeks later, the Springboks went on to win their fourth World Cup.
A year later, the reigning world champions travel to Murrayfield to face the Scots who have not lost any of their test matches since July, recently winning against Uruguay and Fiji. Enough to restore the image of a nation which had only won two matches during the last Six Nations Tournament, against Wales and England.
Opposite, South Africa won the Rugby Championship at the end of September, winning five of the six matches in the southern hemisphere competition. After this match against the Scots, the Springboks will remain in Europe to face England on November 16 and Wales on the 23rd.
The test match between Scotland and South Africa can be followed this Sunday, November 10 from 5:00 p.m. on beIN Sports 1.
