Handlung – Oblivion Battery
Oblivion Battery is about the talented baseball duo Haruka Kiyomine and Kei Kaname, who became known as the insurmountable “Battery” in middle school. Haruka, the “iron arm” pitcher with incredible throwing power, and Kei, the strategically brilliant catcher, were considered almost unbeatable. Despite numerous offers from renowned high schools, both unexpectedly decide to transfer to Kotesashi High School – a school that is not very well known for baseball.
There they encounter an unusual group of players: formerly celebrated talents who have once retired from baseball, many of them beaten by the relentless duo. These lost players have given up their love of the sport, but reuniting with Haruka and Kei awakens an old passion and ambition in them. Now the challenge lies ahead: to rekindle their careers and grow beyond themselves as a team. With a mix of unbridled energy and strategic calculation on the field, Oblivion Battery evolves into a story about returning to a lost passion, team spirit and the strength to face one’s own demons.
