The Pithiviers Badminton Association had chosen a three-day weekend to launch its major competition of the year, the Fous de bad.
At the Joinville gymnasium, it brings together 330 players, from minor to super veteran, or more than 550 matches. And the club’s members take advantage of the event to go to the net with more than forty registered. We note a high level among the participants, with players playing in National 1; some made the trip from Bordeaux or Toulouse. It must be said that individual results will be taken into account for the national ranking.
The singles took place on Saturday, the doubles yesterday and, today, it’s time for the mixed ones. The players (and the public, above all) were also able to enjoy a refreshment bar amply stocked with delicious homemade cakes and a professional to repair rackets subjected to severe tests.
Telethon. Friday November 29 at 7 p.m., Joinville gymnasium, badminton evening open to all.
