Changwon Special City successfully held the ’13th Changwon Special Mayor’s Cup Badminton Competition’ at Masan Gymnasium for two days on the 9th and 10th.
In this competition, hosted by the Changwon City Sports Council and organized by the Changwon City Badminton Association, 500 teams and a total of 1,000 badminton enthusiasts participated and competed in good faith.
This tournament was divided into men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles matches for various age groups from 20s to 60s, including the elite division, and the final winner was determined through a tournament format after the league preliminaries.

Changwon Special City announced that it successfully held the ‘8th Gyeongnam Shooting Federation President’s Cup National Sports Shooting Competition’ at the Changwon International Shooting Range from the 9th to the 10th.
This competition is hosted by the Gyeongnam Shooting Federation, and about 200 people, including elementary, middle and high school student shooters and the general public, from all over the country participated and competed in the 10m air rifle and pistol (student division) and laser combat shooting (general division) events.
This competition, now in its 8th year, aims to revitalize lifestyle sports, promote friendship among shooting enthusiasts, and lead to the popularization of shooting, thereby contributing to the improvement of national health and physical strength.

Changwon Special City held the ‘2024 Dream Festival’ at Yongji Culture Park on the 9th, providing an opportunity for children at the Changwon City Regional Children’s Center to fully display the talents they have honed.
The Kummoa Festival was a joint presentation of Changwon City Children’s Centers, and a total of six teams participated, filling the stage, including K-POP dance, cheerleaders, ukulele, and orchestra performances.
At the event venue, various food booths such as face painting, awareness-raising mole game, nail art experience booth, cotton candy, and fried chicken were operated, providing time for families to enjoy together and make memories.
