“It’s up to the coach if he starts me from the beginning or sends me there as a joker. I will always be ready to help the team in terms of play and goals,” he said at the press conference.
It is not unusual for him to score three goals in the opponent’s net in a few minutes. Against Karviná, he needed sixteen minutes for a hat trick. In the spring of this year against Pardubice, only half of this time was enough for him to score the same goal. With eight minutes equaled Horst Siegel’s 1994 record. Well, a little further back… on his international debut two years ago, he needed ten minutes to score a hat-trick against the Faroe Islands. “It just happens that way, I’m certainly not an expert on that,” he laughed after the match with Karvina.

When he jumped onto the pitch for Ondřej Lingro in the 63rd minute, shortly before that the visitors tied the score at 1:1. His hits, plus Oscar added another, definitely broke the opponent’s resistance.
“It was the work of the whole team, only this time the finish was on me. The boys were pounding them the whole game before I came off the bench. Then there were gaps and therefore nice opportunities for me. It fell on me and I’m glad for it, ” he praised his teammates.
Coach Jindřich Trpišovský also had words of praise for him. “We had a lucky hand, but with his quality it’s easy. We conceded before the substitution, it was necessary to revive it. I like him as a person and as a footballer, he already played great in Frankfurt. He is a demon in the penalty area, he is everywhere on time in the box “He also applied one thing he had practiced, which I am most happy about,” said the coach.
“He didn’t feel like it this year, but he’s a team player, he went for it. He received a great serve and converted his chances. Exactly the way the attack should work. His fresh strength broke the opponent, he practically didn’t go to catch,” he continued.
The celebration was a success
Slavia’s match against Karviná was not just an ordinary match of the first league regular season. The club from Eden celebrated its 132nd anniversary, also dedicating the match to war veterans and fans prepared a giant stadium-wide choreo weeks in advancewhich has never had an equivalent in Czech stadiums. And for the underlined number one with an asterisk, everything was successful – the result and the atmosphere.
“It was unreal. Moreover, I could enjoy it in peace from the bench, I enjoyed it,” laughed Mojmír Chytil. “The celebration went well, we scored five goals, the fans were amazing. From the tarp to the raincoats and the win, a great night for me.”
The only thing that may not make him happy is the fact that this time the coach of the national team, Ivan Hašek, did not remember him. Chytil did not get nominated for current matches after a long time.
“I don’t have such a busy schedule right now, the coaches decided that and it’s completely natural. So I didn’t have it in my head at all. I’m mainly happy that I could help Slavia,” added Mojmír Chytil, specialist in lightning hat tricks.
