“I also want to thank the councilor Claudio Bethaz – declares the Mayor Pasquale Mazza – which acted as a liaison with schools and sports associations to reduce inconvenience as much as possible. Finally, I thank the councilor Mariangela Bracco and all the rest of the majority for their support in carrying out the aforementioned works. We have also requested and obtained from other bodies, therefore at zero cost for the Municipality, the construction of a series of asphalts that had to be finished for a long time: with Italgas: bituminizing from the Campo hamlet up to the intersection with the SP 222 which leads
towards Ivrea; with the Metropolitan City: on the roads under the responsibility of CMTO, asphalts were carried out in the hamlets of San Giovanni, between Filia, S. Anna Boschi and Preparetto towards Villa Castelnuovo.
Over the course of next year, other sections of former provincial roads in our area will be asphalted
municipal territory.”
“Furthermore, in recent weeks – concludes the mayor – we have obtained the provisional authorization from the Piedmont Region, which we hope will soon become definitive, for the removal of the railway track in the stretch of the SP Castellamonte-Rivarolo in the hamlet of S. Antonio, in order to lay the Valle aqueduct and allow the construction of a cycle/pedestrian path.
Compared instead to the works that are underway, both for the laying of the optical fiber and for the new one
Valle aqueduct, we apologize for the inconvenience, although these are works not within the municipal competence,
as they are of considerable importance for the future of the community. In order to avoid difficulties
to commercial activities during the Christmas period, we asked the companies to complete the works in
concentric by the end of November.”
