The promising missionary of judo, Constanza Núñez, undertook the trip to Montreal, Canada, where she will compete in the prestigious Pan American Open and the Pan American Cadet and Junior Judo Cup. The competition will take place from November 14 to 17 and will feature the participation of prominent athletes from all over America. Núñez will be part of the Argentine delegation, made up of six athletes, in the Junior Sub21 category, being one of the youngest competitors as she still belongs to the Sub18 division.
Constanza demonstrated a commitment to judo since she was little, a discipline that she began to practice under the guidance of Hugo Jara and then Javier Galeano, coaches who pushed her to reach an international competitive level. In recent weeks, she participated in a training camp with the renowned judoka Paula Pareto, strengthening her techniques and strategy.
For the Posada judoka, this tournament represents an invaluable opportunity to add points in the world ranking, which is crucial for her aspirations to compete in the 2025 Pan American Games, which will be held in Asunción, Paraguay.
Their participation in the Pan American Open will be an opportunity to represent La Tierra Colorada and the country on an international stage, showing the talent and effort of missionary athletes.
