Avant-match Dolphins c. Rams | Ranking
In the final game of this week No. 10 in the NFL, the Miami Dolphins will visit the Los Angeles Rams. This meeting will be presented from 7:30 p.m. on the airwaves of RDS and RDS.ca with the pre-match show.
First of all, it must be said that the two teams are currently heading in opposite directions. While the Dolphins have lost their last three games, the Rams are riding a three-game winning streak.
The Dolphins are having a very difficult season, with a record of two wins and six losses, but are playing much better since the return of their No. 1 quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, to the lineup. The latter has completed 80.3% of his passes since his return two weeks ago. He completed three touchdown passes and had no interceptions.
Still, the Dolphins lost both games – 28-27 to the Arizona Cardinals and 30-27 to the Buffalo Bills.
The presence of Dolphins star receiver Tyreek Hill remains uncertain, as he is bothered by a wrist injury, which deprived him of the team’s practices over the past week.
For their part, with a victory, the Rams (4-4) could join the San Francisco 49ers in second place in the West section of the National Association. The Cards dominate this section with a 6-4 record.
The player to watch in this meeting for Sean McVay’s men will be tackle Braden Fiske. Last week against the Seattle Seahawks, Fiske connected with quarterback Geno Smith twice behind his face line, in addition to making two more tackles for losses.
The Rams selected Fiske – who is a Florida State University product – in the second round (39th overall) in the last draft, hoping he could somewhat make up for the loss of Aaron Donald who took his retirement at the end of the last campaign.
Also worth watching is the matchup between Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp and Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey. The two were teammates during four seasons in Los Angeles.
Last week, Kupp caught 11 passes for 104 yards against the Seahawks. For his part, Ramsey made his first interception of the season in the loss against the Bills.
