The Billie Jean King Cup tennis teams take off at the Malaga Museum

The national teams of the Billie Jean King Cup, the unofficial women’s tennis world cup, were officially presented at the traditional welcome dinner organized by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), with the Malaga Museum as a luxurious setting. The teams passed through the ‘photocall’ at the entrance to enjoy a gala dinner with the trophy as a luxury spectator and institutional representatives of the City Council, the Provincial Council and the Junta de Andalucía as witnesses. The tournament will start this Wednesday with a Spain-Poland match, with Paula Badosa and the world number two, Iga Swiatek, in the running.
