Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th November took place at the Sports Hall of Arenzano the annual event which involves all the Judo gyms of Liguria to compete for the title of regional champion.
The Imperia association OK Club is as always present with a large team of well-prepared athletes determined to demonstrate their technical and athletic value. The event, held over two days, involves athletes from the Senior, Junior, Cadet and Rookie B categories on Saturday; on Sunday, however, the athletes of the Beginners A and Boys categories and the Kata specialty competition take to the tatami.
At the end of the two intense days of competition, the OK Club ranked second in the overall club ranking behind Pro Recco and in front of the Spezzina del Judo Together ed al Sakura Weapon of Taggiaconfirming itself at the top in the region and first in the province of Imperia. In Shiai (fighting), gold medal for Buetto Greta, Cela Gabriel, El Assad Ibrahim, Faggio Nicole, Guglieri Matteo, Hamdi Nour, Marvaldi Stefano, Sini Francesca, Valle Andrea, Zinghini Lorenzo. Second step of the podium and silver medal for Haddan Yasmine, Haddan Sofia, Hamdi Abde, Petunia Giacomo, Spadacini Gabriele, Valle Andrea.
The bronze medal goes to Celislami Justin, Decanis Cesare, Hamdi Mohamed, Potenza Andrea. In the Kata specialty (form), gold medal for the couples Celislami Justin – Zinghini Lorenzo, Rossetti Tommaso – Zinghini Lorenzo, Barnabè Luca – Cumia Renato, La Rosa Luca – Cumia Renato. Silver medal for the couples Potenza Andrea – Buetto Greta, Haddan Sofia – Haddan Yasmine.
