After a crime thriller, Dennis Schröder had the better end of the duel between the world champions. With the Brookyln Nets, the German national team captain prevailed in the professional basketball league NBA against the New Orleans Pelicans led by Daniel Theis with 107:105.

Javonte Green had the chance to win for the Pels with a three-point attempt with eight seconds left in the game, but did not score.
