Kyle Singler publishes a DISTURBING video and worries the NBA world

Kyle Singler he hasn’t played basketball since 2019, the year of his last experience in Tenerife. But as a boy he was considered an NBA prospect, star of the Duke Blue Devils and then 33rd overall pick in the 2011 draft. Singler’s career in the NBA then lasted only 6 seasons with 6.5 points average between Detroit and Oklahoma City.

In the last few hours there has been talk of him again because of a disturbing video posted by Singler himself on Instagram. In the video you can see the former player against the light, bare-chested, but it is the phrases he utters that are most worrying: “I have to make an announcement, because I feel like my voice is being silenced every day. I have been mistreated, abused, neglected, used as a mental example… I fear for my life, every day. People in my community make me seem like someone who will become a problem and make things difficult for those around me, when in fact I’m just trying to be helpful. I feel I have a value that is not recognized and I am not treated appropriately”.

Kyle Singler’s words immediately caused concern in the NBA world. Among the very first to offer him support was Kevin Love. The Miami Heat player commented directly on the reel posted by Singler, writing: “I love you, Kyle. Write to me any time, please.”

Afterwards Love also wrote a tweet about it: “To anyone who has spent time with Kyle Singler and if your life has been touched by him, please shower him with love and support, he needs and deserves it. I wouldn’t be where I am today without him. I will forever be in his debt and love him. To the NBA family, the Duke family and the South Medford community, show some love to one of yours.”.
