HEEZE – The second team of Badminton Heeze plays the first matches of the competition season mainly against the top teams, which makes collecting a lot of points a challenge.
Heeze-2 played the last match against Gemert-3. The two mix games were won; 22-20/21-13 and lost 13-21/14-21. The ladies Doubles of Chantal and Sabine was very exciting and was won by the ladies of Heeze in two sets. The men’s doubles of Jacco and Ralph got off to a bad start and was lost without a chance in two sets; 10-21/10-21.
Then it was the turn of the singles. Chantal scored a point by winning 21-17/21-18. Sabine was just unable to force a three-setter and lost her match 20-22/18-21. Jacco then had a very hard time in his girth. The first set was won 21-9. But then the opponent gained steam and the match was still lost in three sets 14-21/18-21. Andy then had little chance against a very strong player from Gemert and lost in two sets 13-21/8-21. Final score three match points for Heeze and five points for Gemert.
