Roma forward Artem Dovbik risks missing the upcoming matches of the Ukrainian national team in the Nations League.
According to RomaPress, which refers to Corriere dello Sport, in recent days the Ukrainian felt pain in his knee caused by a bruise in the match against Bologna (2:3).
Dovbik underwent an MRI of the knee joint, the results of which were encouraging, because the football player’s condition is considered satisfactory.
The striker will continue his recovery with the Ukrainian national team. The Giallorossi, in turn, although calm, do not want to take risks. Therefore, the Italians will closely monitor the situation.
According to the source, Dovbik will be under the supervision of the national team’s medical staff, who, in consultation with Roma doctors, will decide whether he should be involved in the matches against Georgia and Albania or whether he should return to Italy for further examinations.
Let us remind you that Ukraine will play with Georgia on November 16, after which Sergei Rebrov’s team will meet with Albania on November 19.
