MIERLO – The youth team of the Mierlose table tennis club MTTV ’72 is still in the race for the championship.
The youth team achieved the maximum score of 10-0 against Unicum. With two games to go it remains exciting.
The first team achieved a good result against Deurne, winning 7-3. The extra training on Thursday paid off. Rudi, Pascal-André and Erik-Pieter each won two matches and the doubles were also won.
Win for teams two and three
The second team also won 7-3. Jan had also trained on Thursday evening and already showed that he was in top form. He won all his matches against Valkenswaard. Fons and René-Philippe each won two.
Team three had to field a substitute again. Kaj won a good match. Robin could only beat Bart and secured a point with Rob with the double. Rob was in good shape and won all his matches. MTTV ’72 scored 6-4 against Deurne.
Kaj already played in team three that same evening, but also managed to win everything in his own team four. Radu also took home a point. Unfortunately, Henry was unable to score. The score was 5-5. They are in fourth place and with two games to go they should manage to stay in the 5th division.
