The NFL season ended early for Dak Prescott from the Dallas Cowboys. The highest-paid player in NFL history as of this season has to undergo thigh surgery.
Owner Jerry Jones confirmed to local radio station 105.3 The Fan that the quarterback will undergo surgery on Wednesday for a partially torn hamstring.
This means that the 31-year-old, who signed a contract extension with the Texans until 2028 in the summer and thus became the highest-paid player in NFL history, will no longer be able to play this season.
