In the statement made by Manisa Basket, it was stated that an agreement was reached with Kazys Maksvytis until the end of the 2025-2026 season and the following was noted:
“Maksvytis, who started last season in Zalgiris, succeeded in winning the Lithuanian League championship and playing in the play-offs in the European League in the 2022-2023 season. Maksvytis, who served as the head coach of the Lithuanian National Team between 2021-2024, won the 2023 World Cup in 6th place. “We hope that this agreement will be beneficial for our club and Kazys Maksyvtis, and we hope that our coach will have seasons full of victories.”
