On Sunday, November 10th, 2024, the Hessian U17 team competed in the mixed team at the <a href="https://www.archysport.com/2022/11/patrick-is-a-german-police-judo-champion-wasserburg-voice-the-first-online-newspaper-only-for-the-city-and-the-old-district-of-wasserburg/” title=”Patrick is a German police judo champion – Wasserburg voice – The first online newspaper only for the city and the old district of Wasserburg”>German Team Championships. The state teams gathered in the sports hall of the sports park to engage in thrilling battles.
Our athletes competed with a lot of passion and tireless commitment and achieved an impressive third place.
The atmosphere was electric and all the fighters gave their best for their team.
Hesse prevailed in Pool B after an intense and extremely close duel against Bayern, which was only decided in the tiebreak. The strong team from North Rhine-Westphalia waited in the semi-finals – and despite passionate commitment, Hesse had to admit defeat to the eventual champions. North Rhine-Westphalia ultimately won the title in the final and defended its championship.
Despite all the seriousness and desire to win in the fights, the friendly atmosphere and mutual respect also characterized the entire day. After every fight, the solidarity that transcended team boundaries was evident – a real example of judo values in action.
Results at a glance:
1. North Rhine-Westphalia
2. Lower Saxony
3. Hesse
3. Bayern
5. Berlin
5. Saxony
Big praise and congratulations to all participants! We are proud of the excellent performance and the strong team spirit that our athletes have demonstrated.
A big thank you to everyone who made this day possible and supported it.
With this achievement behind us, we look forward to many more successes in the future. Keep it up, Team Hessen!
