It was a great honor for me today to award a special award to the “Forgotten Football” project for outstanding contribution in the field of regional football history for the year 2024, which was won by the historian of the Regional Museum of the Karlovy Vary region Mgr. Jan Nedved. This is a prestigious award that is given only once a year, and it is rightfully in the best hands. I am extremely glad that I could be a part of the great team that prepared and realized the exhibition “Forgotten football – History of football in the Karlovy Vary region in the years 1904 – 1970”. The exhibition can currently be seen in the Karlovy Vary Museum in Nová Louka.
The football history commission of the Karlovy Vary Regional Football Association also joins in the congratulations.
