Figeac. Young musketeers serving the tennis school

Three high school students dreamed of sharing their passion for the little yellow ball with the young people at the TC Figeac school. First year students, Liam Lafage, Maxime Martinez and Angel Rives, had to wait until they were 16, the minimum age which allows them to apply for the rank of federal initiator. An adult, Rémy Mahul, followed them in this process and the Lot departmental committee, whose presidency is currently transitioning peacefully from Claude Bonnet to Élodie Massalve, offered them training. Delivered by Guillaume Bot, territorial technical advisor and Charles Bonvarlet, DE, this took place from October 22 to 25, alternating between Montauban and Cahors. After practicing a wide variety of exercises and educational situations, our quartet will validate the precious diploma which is a key to working with minors. All this comes to strengthen Maxime Malbert’s teaching team, which currently has twelve active members and, a second boon for the club, Rémy has just enrolled in a higher level course, a professional qualification certificate!
