Pallacanestro Trieste and MSC Crociere, the third largest cruise company in the world, have announced a strategic partnership that aims at ever greater internationalization of the red and white club towards ever greater internationalisation: the agreement with MSC for it to appear on the playing shirt of the team for the 2024/2025 season the logo of the cruise company. For MSC Cruises the goal is to further root itself in the local community.
The partnership is not limited to financial support, but will result in joint initiatives to promote sport and young talents. The MSC logo will be on the front of the Pallacanestro Trieste match shirt starting from the match against Trapani on Sunday 17 November, on the pitchside LEDs of the PalaTrieste, on the parquet of the facility and in numerous digital activations that will involve fans and communities.
The president of Pallacanestro Trieste, Paul Matiasic, expressed “enthusiasm in welcoming MSC into the Pallacanestro Trieste family, which embodies the fundamental values we aspire to every day as an organization”.
Leonardo Massa, Vice President of MSC Cruises, recalling the importance of the Port of Trieste in the cruise market, underlined the “tradition of successes and strong reputation of Pallacanestro Trieste”.
