Arthur, teacher at the Judo Club du Creusot, has just returned from a two-week stay in Japan, the birthplace of judo. This trip, part of his DEJEPS training, was a unique and enriching experience.
Accompanied by Mathéo Noirbusson, licensed at the club and trained as a teacher at the JCMC – Judo Club of Marsannay la Côte, as well as their friends from the Chalonnais Judo club, Yann du Closel and Frédéric Mazue, Arthur was able to dive into the heart of the practice of Japanese judo . During this stay, the Creusotin judokas discovered traditional Japanese teaching methods. They also had the opportunity to share their own teaching approach with young Japanese judokas. These exchanges made it possible to confront the different Judoic cultures and to mutually enrich practices.
Inspiring encounters
The group also had the chance to meet professional judokas, academics and promising high school students. These meetings were an opportunity to share techniques, discuss the philosophy of judo and draw inspiration from the best. In addition to the sporting aspect, this trip was an opportunity to discover the richness of Japanese culture. Visits to temples, tastings of local specialties, immersion in daily life… so many experiences that left their mark. With this experience, Arthur returns to the club with new ideas and renewed motivation. These exchanges and discoveries will make it possible to enrich the training and best support the young judokas of Le Creusot in their progress. This stay in Japan is a great illustration of the commitment of the Judo Club du Creusot to the training of its teachers and the promotion of judo among its members.
Le Creusot, fertile ground for judo
This trip to Japan is once again a reminder of the international influence of the Judo Club du Creusot. This is particularly the case of David Chevalier, a former Creusotin judoka now based in Tahiti, who recently won the bronze medal at the M6 veteran judo world championships in Las Vegas. A remarkable performance which honors the club and which testifies to the quality of the teaching provided at Le Creusot. David Chevalier carried the club’s colors high throughout the world. His exceptional journey is a source of inspiration for all young Creuset judokas. Furthermore, Nicolas Tivant, a former teacher at the club and also based in Tahiti, took part in this championship in Las Vegas and, for his part, finished in 7th place in the M3 category. The presence of these two veterans of the club, both passionate about judo, is a source of inspiration for young Creuset judokas. She shows them that judo is a sport that allows you to develop personally and professionally, and that it is possible to practice it at a high level while thriving on the other side of the world. The Judo Club du Creusot is thus a real springboard for all those who wish to practice this sport in a spirit of sharing and surpassing oneself.
The Creusotin Judo Club would like to congratulate them for their participation and their result in this championship.
