Midfielder N’Golo Kanté will accompany Blues coach Didier Deschamps at a press conference this Wednesday (4 p.m.), on the eve of France-Israel (Thursday, 8:45 p.m.) in the Nations League. The former Chelsea player should therefore, as expected, wear the captain’s armband for this meeting at the Stade de France.
Kanté (33) was Kylian Mbappé’s vice-captain during the September rally and he wore the armband at kick-off against Belgium, when the Madrilenian started on the bench. The Al-Ittihad player then missed the October rally due to an adductor problem.
